Lady Gaga’s creative process while writing music is apparently like “vomiting”.

In her online GaGavision No. 43 video the global pop star said:

“The creative process is approximately 15 minutes of vomiting my creative ideas in the forms of melodies usually… and some sort of a theme, lyric, idea… it all comes in approximately 15 minutes of this giant regurgitation of my thoughts and feelings – and then I spend days, weeks, months, years, fine tuning.

“The idea is that you honour your vomit. You have to honour your vomit,” she said.

Lady Gaga said the challenge she faced in writing Born This Way was around her own self confidence.

“I had to leave my insecurity behind me what ever residual scars I spent two years delving into my wounds,” she stated.
