We’d like to know a little bit about you for our files, but we don’t like regurgitating press releases or asking the easy questions. At Tone Deaf we only ask the tough questions, so just hold still, grit your teeth, clench your buttocks and be still while we put on the rubber gloves, apply the thumbscrews, and pull out our thermometer while you open up and say ahhhhhhhhhhh… Truthful answers only or we drink your rider while you’re on stage.

Who gets the most ‘off stage action’ in the band? What’s the secret to their success?
Boots is always the man on the prowl, but no, Chris Powell wins. Chris Powell always wins.
(Chris Powell is the drummer, and Chis Powell is the man)

Have you ever been arrested? Where were you, and what was it for?

Arrests include breaking and entering and public passed out-ness. Just general teenage alcohol related stupidity.

What’s been the worst day job you’ve ever had?
Playing in a band.

Sex, drugs and groupies – In what order do you prefer them and how often?
Chris Powell on drugs.

Take us back to the first gig you went to. Where was it and what was the venue?
Michael Jackson at the MCG shamone.

What’s your favourite site to download music from and do you ever pay for it? Can we find any of your releases there?
I have downloaded the odd discography, but I don’t think we’re popular enough for people to be sharing and stealing our music. For now you can buy it from iTunes or CDbaby.

What’s the farthest you’d go to win over a new fan?
My wife told me to take my wedding ring off so we’d have a better chance of getting a groupie following.
That night a girl came up to me and complemented the set, so asked her to sign the mailing list, and she gave me a fake email. Fail.

Right, now that you’ve virtually admitted in public that you’re actually not very cool, here’s your chance to plug your upcoming gigs and releases. – go for it.

Okay. The EP is available from iTunes and CDbaby. It’s also up on our myspace here or our CD’s will be on sale at the EP launch at Ding Dong Lounge on Sat 13th November.

All the other gigs are up on the myspace, but yeah, just come to the launch.
