We’d like to know a little bit about you for our files, but we don’t like regurgitating press releases or asking the easy questions. At Tone Deaf we only ask the tough questions, so just hold still, grit your teeth, clench your buttocks and be still while we put on the rubber gloves, apply the thumbscrews, and pull out our thermometer while you open up and say ahhhhhhhhhhh… Truthful answers only or we drink your rider while you’re on stage.

Who gets the most ‘off stage action’ in the band? What’s the secret to their success?
Levon Helm for his unkept beard and patriotic trucker hats.

Have you ever been arrested? Where were you, and what was it for?
Once in Melbourne for wearing pink hotpants after midday on a Sunday.

What’s been the worst day job you’ve ever had?
Selling Lemonade on a suburban street for 50 cents a cup.

Sex, drugs and groupies – In what order do you prefer them and how often?
Chronological. Constantly.

Take us back to the first gig you went to. Where was it and what was the venue?
Wilber Wilde at The Tankerville Arms when I was 10 months old.

What’s your favourite site to download music from and do you ever pay for it? Can we find any of your releases there?
Youporn.com. You can’t find any of our releases there…yet.

What’s the furtherest you’d go to win over a new fan?
I would go even farther than furtherest to get further towards having far more than fewer fans.

Right, now that you’ve virtually admitted in public that you’re actually not very cool, here’s your chance to plug your upcoming gigs and releases. – go for it.

Where much less cool in person but you should come and make these judgements for yourselves at the following places on the following days:

Saturday November 13th at Ding Dong for Tone Deaf – that’s definitely the one you should come to!
Wednesday November 17th at The Evelyn
Friday December 10th at The Espy
Saturday December 11th at Cherry Bar

We should also hopefully have a new EP out in early 2011. Keep your ear to the ground for further details.
