As one of the most influential rock acts of all time, Led Zeppelin’s 50th birthday festivities will surely be nothing short of incredible. With the huge milestone set for celebration next year, Jimmy Page has recently revealed what fans could potentially expect from the enduring act.

Speaking with the Academy of Achievement, Page has said “There’ll be Led Zeppelin product coming out, for sure, that people haven’t heard because I’m working on that. Next year will be the 50th year, so there’s all manner of surprises coming out.” Details are still scarce, however, the notion of Led Zeppelin-related ‘surprises’ sound very promising.

Zep have already reissued each of their studio albums that feature previously unheard live material and studio recordings so it’ll be interesting to see what a new ‘product’ would entail.

The iconic act celebrated Atlantic’s 40th anniversary in 1998, reuniting on stage to tear through a 5 song set including the classics, ‘Kashmir’, ‘Heartbreaker’, ‘Whole Lotta Love’, ‘Misty Mountain Hop’, and of course, ‘Stairway to Heaven’. The set featured John Bonham’s son, Jason on the drums, who’ll be bringing his live show ‘The Led Zeppelin Experience’ to Australia early next year.
