Boy oh boy – this one is gonna be fun! Jon Stewart, who hosts The Daily Show – one of the few decent TV shows in America, is set to welcome Nirvana’s remaining living members Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and their producer, Garbage member Butch Vig, to conduct a Q&A with them on leading digital radio station Sirius XM.

Set to take place on 24th September, the show will commemorate the release of Nirvana’s seminal Nevermind album twenty years ago next month. The album broke down the doors for indie music, making it mainstream and sold 10 million copies in the meantime.

Sirius XM is set to rebrand itself as Nevermind Radio from September 23rd to 28th, and will be playing all of Nirvana’s top hits, B-sides and rarities. Stewart is set to sit down with drummer Dave Grohl, bassist Krist Novoselic and Nevermind’s producer Butch Vig for what is entitled the “Town Hall With Nirvana” radio program. The broadcast will also be broadcast simultaneously on the appropriately titled XM Lithium station.

Knowing Stewart’s reputation, we can hopefully expect him to be busting out the flannel for a mega grunge flashback, with all the girls wearing their Doc Martens under their skirts and accessorising with nose rings.
