Kasabian have revealed some details of their forthcoming album, which they’ve been working on in San Francisco with super producer Dan The Automator. Clearly taking the ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ approach, the  Leicester band have returned to The Automator which produced their last album, West Ryder Lunatic Pauper Asylum.  The band have revealed some of the working titles of the songs on the as yet untitled album, which will feature tracks such as ‘Switchblade Smile’, ‘Neon Noon’, Goodby Kiss’, I Hear Voices’, ‘Shelter From The Storm’ and ‘Velociraptor’. Speaking to a UK magazine with the band’s usual bluster, “Velociraptor is a ripper, a song imbued with “mega punk fucking aggression. Totally off the wall, but you know it’s us.”

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno was similarly humble about the record saying: “Listening to the songs makes you feel great. Get your fucking jacket on, whack your fucking shoes on. It makes you believe things are going to happen.” The record, which is due out in October, was initially worked on at British Grove Studios in London before the band flew out to California to indulge in a little sunshine and warm air while they finished off work on it.
