When Kendrick Lamar released his track ‘The Heart Part 4’ last month, fans were going crazy over the fact that he mentioned April 7th in the track. Could this be the date the new record comes out? More tour dates? Presidential campaign announcement?

As it turns out, we were treated to details of his new album, and with new track ‘HUMBLE.’ having come a few days earlier, we were also given the album’s artwork as well this week. It was a veritable week of Kendrick, and then with only a few hours before it was set to be released, the album was leaked, proving that even the biggest, most closely guarded albums aren’t safe from leaks.

As it turns out, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. is a little bit different to the supposed tracklist that was leaked just a few weeks back, but its still just as impressive. With a solid 14 tracks on the new record, it features guests such as Rihanna, and U2, with production work being handled by names as varied BadBadNotGood, Mike Will Made It, and Dr. Dre.

Bolstered by the strength of ‘HUMBLE.’ previously, the record is already set to be one of this year’s biggest successes. With Kendrick already on the support trail for the album, with an appearance at Coachella all set, fans aren’t going to be waiting long to hear a lot of these new tracks in concert. Hopefully we won’t be waiting too long before Aussies get to hear some of these tunes in concert, but however long it takes, it will certainly be worth the wait.

The album is available for streaming via various streaming services, check it out below.
