Another day, another chapter in the ongoing saga regarding Kings Of Leon and their lead singer Caleb Followill. If you haven’t been keeping up to date the band recently had to cancel a concert mid-set due to the frontman being so drunk he couldn’t continue. The following day the band cancelled their entire US tour and although they say their international schedule is still on things are starting to look shaky.

A report in US Weekly suggest that Caleb’s bandmates are concerned with his level of drinking with a source commenting “They are trying to get him into rehab. It’s a dark demon he has been fighting for a while.”

The source also told US Weekly “They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. It is mostly for alcohol. That’s why they ended up cancelling the whole tour… he drinks like a fish. They all drink. Anyone in a band usually likes to have a few beers on the road…”

But the bands spokesperson seems to be beating a different drum releasing a statement saying “The reason for the cancellation of the tour is Caleb is under doctor’s orders for vocal rest. They feel terrible about cancelling. They look forward to getting back on the road at the end of September”.

Whatever the truth it sure is going to be interesting should the band actually play their November tour of Australia.
