Australian rockers Kingswood have finally announced the details of their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, After Hours, Close To Dawn. The follow-up to the band’s critically lauded debut, Microscopic Wars, is set to drop 3rd March 2017 via Dew Process and the band will celebrate the release with a new national tour.

The band’s 14-date After Hours, Close To Dawn tour will launch in Belgrave on Thursday, 23rd March before heading to capital cities and a handful of regional centres throughout the country. If you haven’t seen Kingswood yet, don’t miss your chance to witness the band at the peak of their powers, with a brand new suite of songs in tow.

After Hours, Close To Dawn was recorded at the legendary Sound Emporium in Nashville, one of the world’s most legendary music hubs. The studio is owned by Johnny Cash’s producer, Jack Clement, and has hosted the likes of Robert Plant, Cyndi Lauper, Alabama Shakes, and Pharell, who’ve recorded some of their biggest hits there.

Alex Laska, Fergus Linacre, and Justin Debrincat recorded the album with English-born and Nashville-based producer Ed Spear, whom the band befriended when he engineered Microscopic Wars. Laska co-produced the album with Spear and the result is yet another slice of quintessentially Australian music that’s sure to make the Kingswood star rise even higher.
