Having spent plenty of time in the States, and especially Nashville, soaking up new influences and working on their latest LP After Hours, Close To Dawn, Kingswood are no strangers to getting shit done when they’re away from home.

So, it was going to take more than a U.S. tour to get in the way of filming a clip for album track ‘Big City’, and their stop in New York actually gave them the perfect time to make their own four-minute sepia-toned ode to the biggest city of them all.

Shot and edited by the band’s own Alex Laska, its stars are New Yorkers in their natural habitat, a candid Humans of New York-style montage that pairs perfectly with the nostalgic alt-country tones of its accompanying Nahville-infused track.

They’re back home now, of course, and in the middle of their second round of touring for After Hours, this time taking them through the regional venues they missed the first time around. Catch them on their final shows in SA and VIC, dates below.
