After rubbishing previous reunion rumours which involved his brother telling reporters that the brothers couldn’t agree on a reunion, Dave Davies of The Kinks has told a reporter that  reunion could be imminent. “I’m seeing Dave next week,” he told the journalist. “I hear that Dave is saying stuff in the press like, ‘I’ll do it, but Ray doesn’t want to do it.’ This is me saying, ‘Ray will do it if Dave does it.'”

The original bad boy brothers of rock haven’t played together for 15 years, and while rumours of a reformation have been rife for years, it appears that the Davies’ brother’s squabbling and the death last year of bassist Peter Quaife appeared to have put the kybosh on any reunion. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
