Kitchen Knife Wife have already notched up a pretty impressive resume. Not long after forming, the Melbourne five-piece were invited to tour Europe with marsupial pop giants The Wombats before heading home to play the hometown leg of the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.
However they’re not the most prolific of bands when it comes to playing live or releasing material so they’ve decided to kick out the jams as they tour the east coast in support of their new single ‘Happy’- an effortless slice of smiling indie pop.
The single is the first taste of their poptastic debut album out later this year, and they promise to show us what they’re talking about when Kitchen Knife Wife hit the road this July and August.
