Jack White approved songbird Lanie Lane is set to release her debut album To The Horses on October 14th and will then set out on a headline tour throughout Oz in October and November.

Recorded and mixed in an economical four days with her band at Ripple Studios in Sydney, the self-produced album contains 11 cuts that show off her varied influences, which encompass early rock and roll, skiffle, blues and Australian soul, her distinctive voice serving up fantastic tales of love, lust and heartbreak.

After spending the last 12 month on the road with the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Clare Bowditch, Fitz and The Tantrums and You Am I, Lanie is now stepping out of the support shadow for her own headline tour. With tickets on sale Monday Ausgust 29th, fans can also snap up Lanie’s very first vinyl offering, the ‘Ain’t Hungry’ / ‘My Man’ single out NOW. Produced by Jack White, it is released on his Third Man Records label on beautiful 7” vinyl or for download through iTunes.
