Melbourne’s Leaps and Bounds is back for its 5th year, with the opening night on Thursday July 13 kicking off a ten-day festival of music and art boasting over 100 various events across 24 venues and record stores.

For the opener, ARIA nominees Augie March, Australian Music Prize winner Jess Ribeiro and talented garage/pop outfit The Pink Tiles will be joined at The Corner Hotel by a secretive special guest to start things up with a cover of Paul Kelly’s ‘Leaps & Bounds’, taken from his first record with The Coloured Girls.

Promising to continue on its mission to promote a host of homegrown talent across Melbourne’s many venues, Leaps and Bounds will unveil the full program on Tuesday May 9, but for now tickets to the opening night are on sale from The Corner Hotel.
