Kids these days with their Lordes and their Led Zeppelins. Yes, this week has seen Led Zeppelin’s chart friendly 1970 tune ‘Immigrant Song’ hit #16 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, and top the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart – with 7,000 sales over the seven-day span.

The reason? The song features heavily on the recently-released Thor: Ragnarok trailer, and its immediate appeal to a completely different generation does seem to prove that — as James Franco once said on Freaks and Geeks — “Rock and roll don’t come from your brain. It comes from your crotch.”

It’s always nice when these ’70s classics re-enter the charts.
