Lester the Fierce is the latest project for former Me and the Grownups band member, Anita Lester. A visual artist turned performer, Lester has found the perfect way to illustrate her experiences of love and death in a unique and often graphic way.
Her upcoming EP The Summer Deluge is set to be released on the 25th of November. The EP is made up of four song that explores the Australian Summer.
The EP was recorded in South Melbourne by Colin Leadbetter (Whitley’s Go Forth, Find Mammoth), and is deeply wistful, evocative of 1960’s folk.
In celebration of the release of Lester the Fierce will be performing at the Phoenix Public House on the 1st of December.
