Liam Gallagher might be a human headline in the world of music, but it now appears that the rocker’s wild behaviour extends to his personal life as well, with Gallagher admitting in a new interview that he’s never met his two daughters.

Back in 1997, while Oasis were still riding high on the success of their album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, Liam Gallagher married British actress Patty Kensit. The pair had one child, Lennon Gallagher, who was born in 1999, before they parted ways in 2000. Then, in 2001, Gallagher and new partner Nicole Appleton announced the arrival of Gene Gallagher.

However, headlines also showed a different side to the Oasis frontman as well, with news of Gallagher having an affair with English musician Lisa Moorish, which resulted in the birth of Molly in 1998. Likewise, in 2013, it was announced that Gallagher was the father to a two-year old daughter named Gemma, with US journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Now, in an interview with The Mirror, Liam Gallagher admitted he still sees his sons, but has “never got around” to meeting his daughters.

“I’ve just never got around to meeting her. I’ve heard she’s all right, though. She’s doing all right,” he said in relation to daughter Molly. “I never heard anything that she wanted to meet me,”

Gallagher did reveal that he provides financial support to his children, but has never taken the time to play any sort of role in their lives. “Not met the one in New York either,” Liam continued. “But I wish them well. If they ever need anything, give us a shout.”

Last year, Gallagher had revealed to GQ that the reason he was yet to meet his daughter Molly was due to a rather bad relationship with her mother, Lisa Moorish, while noting that his brother Noel had in fact met her.

“The kid I haven’t seen. But if I met her, she’d be cool. She’s welcome in my world, without a doubt, but I just ain’t met her, because her mam’s… listen, we don’t work. We don’t get on,” he explained.

“As she was growing up, I thought it was the best way, instead of having me popping in and arguing with the woman,” he explained. She [Molly] knows where I am and I’m there for her if she needs anything, like I have been since she was born, financially. I know it’s not about that, but it’s better than nothing.”

“I bought them a house and all that tack. I just think she’s best off with her mum. If it happens, it happens. Certainly, wouldn’t turn her away. Let it be.”
