Sydney based five-piece Lime Cordiale have spent a year stunning crowds with their great live show, creating a back-to-basics approach to getting their music heard, relying on entertaining shows and great pop tunes rather than industry wank and undeserved hype.

Their new single is a reflection of the band they’ve become, the aptly titled ‘Bullshit Aside’. The track is the first single lifted off the band’s sophomore EP, Falling Up The Stairs, showcasing the band’s uniquely Australian sound, featuring quirky lyrics, pop hooks and big brass licks.

Recorded over 4 months with Sydney producer, Daniel Denholm (Washington, The Whitlams, Billy Thorpe, Midnight Oil), the EP is to be released in August 2013.

The band, fronted by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach, have been playing some big shows over the past 12 months, including a sold out launch show at The Standard in Sydney, a highly successful residency at The Beresford, and well received sets at Homebake and Peats Ridge, and Deni Blues Festival.

They have also performed to considerable audiences as supports with The Rubens, Cosmo Jarvis (UK), the Specials (UK), Ball Park Music, Hey Geronimo, The Griswolds, Electric Empire.

The Bullshit Aside single release will be accompanied by a film clip, to be released in late June 2013, and a tour in June/July (dates below).
