Linkin Park’s die-hard fans are still hurting months after the death by suicide of the frontman Chester Bennington, and those fans have joined together to make a final, touching video for recent title track ‘One More Light’.

Made by dozens of fans, the lyric video features home-made shots taken by fans from all over the world, in an idea spearheaded by a fan named Nicola, who appears at the end of the video.

The lyrics tread emotional ground considering that Chester would take his own life soon after the song’s release, and they take on an extra poignancy when you see how much they mean to listeners who may be going through similar ongoing battles with their mental health, or who simply miss a beloved musical hero.

A bigger tribute is of course on the way, as the remaining Linkin Park members are joined by friends from Blink-182, Korn and more at a tribute show in LA, raising money for Music For Relief’s ‘One More Light’ memorial fund in Chester’s honour as they play their first live set since his passing.
