Ceiling-dancing icon Lionel Richie is about to bring Australia all the hits on his, well, ‘All The Hits Tour’, but he won’t be alone – he’s bringing legendary singer/guitarist and founding member of Chic, Nile Rodgers.

Hitting the country in September, the pair will be playing seven dates, although Rodgers will be M.I.A for one of the two Sydney shows, which is taking place at The Star Event Centre – perhaps it’s an aversion to casinos.

Richie is of course the former Commodores member who went on to even greater fame with an array of danceable hits like ‘All Night Long’ and classic ballads like ‘Hello’, while Nile Rodgers finally received an Rock and Roll Hall of Fame award for Solo Musical Excellence last year after having been considered 11 times – although he was upset his Chic bandmates didn’t receive similar recognition.

It’s an excellent double-header, so check out the dates below, and grab tickets from Monday June 19.
