The Foo Fighters are renowned for being rock’s nicest and coolest guys, known for maintaining their signature ‘down-to-earth-ness’ even whilst playing the world’s most monolithic stadiums.

Their sense of humour seems to permeate whatever they do, whether its Dave Grohl’s post-song anecdotes or the exchange of stage banter between band members – now it seems to have made its way to the ‘prohibited items’ list present at the band’s Aukland show on Saturday.

Whilst show security is at an all-time high, this hasn’t stopped the Fooies from taking the piss just a little. As always, the list features weapons and glass containers, however, the band also seem to think “unflattering photos of Ryan Seacrest” could be deemed just as dangerous.

Also making appearances on the list include “pirated VHS tapes of Land Of The Lost,” “Creem magazines that do not mention Ted Nugent” and “any mention of Friendster or Webster (starring Emmanuel Lewis)” – make sense? Sure it doesn’t.
