In October, the Pretenders released their tenth studio album, Alone, which was produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.

Auerbach, thankfully, has a real knack for not fucking with a band’s natural sound too much – so the new album sounds a lot like vintage Pretenders.

‘Let’s Get Lost’ was featured on the October record, but the Pretenders have released a different version of the song as their new single, featuring vocals from Pet Shop Boy Neil Tennant. Hynde and Tennant blend beautifully, and it’s nice to hear two of the most distinctive voices of the ’80s on this breezy, romantic song.

Check it out below, then buy a copy of Alone – the whole album is really strong.
