We’ve still got fond memories of the most recent summer festival season, which seems all too long ago now. But there’s no reason to be glum, Listen Out have just announced their dates for their 2016 event, as well as some good news and a possible lineup clue.

Listen Out 2016 will kick off in late September at the Catani Gardens in Melbourne, before powering into October with events in Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane, giving each city a taste of the best international and local dance music and urban acts.

Best of all, not only are the Perth and Brisbane events moving to beautiful and greener new venues this year, organisers have gone ahead and solved the sound issues experienced at last year’s Melbourne Listen Out event.

“In response to feedback regarding the sound restrictions at Listen Out Melbourne 2015, Fuzzy, with approval from the good folk at St Kilda Council, are pleased to announce that there will be a noise limit increase of more than 10dB,” organisers wrote.

They also promise the lineup is “coming soon” but may have given us a cheeky clue in their latest video dispatch, which features an excerpt of ‘Am I Wrong?’, the tasty collab from Anderson.Paak and Schoolboy Q, who was on last year’s lineup.
