Brissy based trio The Goon Sax have just released dropped their newest single ‘Boyfriend’ to wrap up what’s been quite a year for the recent Chapter Record signees.
Following on from their debut single ‘Sometimes Accidentally’ this new track sees the crew continue to hold the title of most endearing band in Australia. The simple, yet thoughtfully constructed guitar pop gem is a hooky three minutes that ride a down tempo wave of both laconic wit and painful longing.
Having only formed (in high school) back in 2013, the band, consisting of Riley Jones, Louis Forster and James Harrison have already captured a lot of Aussie and international attention playing alongside local guitar wielding heroes like Twerps, Blank Realm, Darren Hanlon, Major Leagues, Palms, Babaganouj just to name drop a few.
