It’s been far too long since The Horrors graced our ears with 2011’s Skying. The UK-moodsters teased in February with their first single ‘I See You’, to which they have followed up with their second release ‘So Now You Know’ from their upcoming fourth studio LP Luminous.

Commencing in cinematic fashion, ‘So Now You Know’ is built by droning guitars and brooding synthesisers that instil an almost space-rock induced trance before crashing into Faris Badwan’s coarse yet dreamlike vocals.

‘So Now You Know’ certainly pertains to the murkier dream-pop aesthetic the outfit championed with their aforementioned Skying. It appears Badwan’s move forward is favouring a far cleaner delivery as opposed to his earlier post-punk shouts-outs, and it’s pretty damn nice.
