We’re no strangers to legendary UK indie rock icons The Kooks, in fact the band were just in the country earlier this year for what was one of the biggest tours of their career and what our Tone Deaf writer coined “one of their strongest tours in years” stating that “the band is only going from strength to strength with their years of touring and recording experience.”

The Brighton based four piece were visiting in celebration of their latest effort and their most experimental record yet, last year’s Listen. They’ve now just unveiled a complete re-work of their 2014 indie rock gem with Hello, What’s Your Name? remix album.

Presenting a fresh take on the band’s latest effort Hello, What’s Your Name? pushes genre boundaries and cements The Kooks’ reputation as being one of indie rock’s consistently exciting and forward thinking acts.

Featuring an impressive list of collaborators and creators including Isabella ‘Machine’ Summers, Midnitemen and Kove it’s a fanatic opportunity for Kooks fans new and old to appreciate the band’s undisputed songwriting chops. Check out the remix LP below.

Hello, What’s Your Name? is out today via Virgin EMI / Caroline Australia.
