They’re one of Australia’s most beloved bands, and now The Living End are set to release their debut live album.

Ever since they first formed back in the early ’90s, The Living End have been one of Australia’s most consistently-successful rock bands. With every single one of their eight albums reaching the ARIA top ten, they’re undoubtedly a big deal in the world of Aussie rock.

However, after almost 25 years together, a bunch of albums, a handful of EPs, and countless singles, the band are yet to take that drastic step and release a live album. Now, that’s all about to change.

Yes, as Triple M report, The Living End are set to release their limited edition Live In Europe 2018 album next month.

Recorded across a trio of European shows earlier this year, the shows capture a rather broad cross-section of the band’s vast discography.

“From festivals to club shows it was a summer of love for TLE and this recording comes straight off the press with no overdubs or fix ups, just all the blood and sweat that was shed on the night,” explained bassist Scott Owen.

“We hope you enjoy the journey as much as we did. Loud and clear on vinyl”.

Limited to just 1,000 copies, the black and red-coloured vinyl comes packaged with a copy of The Living End’s most recent album, Wunderbar. It will be available for purchase from November 30th, with 50 copies being made available at each night of the group’s upcoming Aussie tour.

Of course, if you’re wondering how The Living End have gone almost a quarter of a century without releasing a live record, it’s important to remember that they’ve unleashed a few live DVDs before, including Live At Festival Hall, and Live at ACDC Lane, which came with copies of the band’s White Noise album.

Live In Europe 2018 is out on November 30th, with pre-orders available now.
