The rhetoric surrounding the album St Anger‘s drum sound has plagued metal music discussion since its release. Immediately, the tinny, tight and straight up strange sound of the snare was given the comparison to that of a garbage can – or just plain garbage, depending on your personal opinion on the album.

Now, a noble drummer has taken this comparison to the next level, covering the album track ‘Frantic’, replacing the snare with an actual garbage can lid. Legendary.

Despite the original track drawing its fair amount of vitriol, it is quite entertaining to watch this masterpiece come to fruition.
