Luoke or Luke (or what ever he’s calling himself these days) Steele has revealed that he and bandmate Nick Littlemore haven’t spoken since February. He told BBC Radio’s Newsbeat that the last time they spoke was at the Brit Awards.

“Nick doesn’t play in the live show,” Steele said. “He doesn’t play in anything. I saw him at the Brit Awards and that was like a bit of a reunion.” Despite his reputation for being difficult to work with, the show must go on, as Empire of The Sun will be making their UK live debut at Glastonbury later this month, before further festival gigs.

Speaking of the falling out he’s had with Littlemore, he did his best impersonation of someone who is clearly not quite with it, saying “It’s kind of like a master chef serving up this new dish they’ve cooked called The Dream and then some kid coming off the street with a machete and shoving it into this steak, picking it up and just laughing watching the blood drip out of it.” Right, back to your meds Lukey Luke.
