In a huge day for rock n’ roll, around 12,000 people turned up to the Community Cup in Elsternwick Park yesterday, drawing a crowd that some AFL Clubs would dream for. The beer flowed, crazy haircuts and sunglasses abounded as Melbourne’s rock n’ roll community rocked along to possibly the only footy match most see all year.

In an amazing come from behind win, the RRR/PBS Megahertz booted a goal with 20 seconds to spare to steal a win by a solitary point. It is still unclear as to whether the controversial leaking of the Espy Rockdogs starting line up to Tone Deaf had an impact, but Rockdogs President Fred Negro was very unhappy, exclusively telling Tone Deaf that he is considering quitting his position after the Rockdogs’ defeat.
