Woah, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is on a role with his Q&A sessions at his concerts recently. Just a few days ago he slammed legendary record producer Rick Rubin, calling him ‘overrated,’ ‘overpaid,’ and ‘lazy’.

Today he is taking an admittedly cheap but nonetheless amusing shot at Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland’s Christmas album which he just released. Making the outburst all the more amusing is that Taylor allegedly auditioned recently for Weiland’s old job as Velvet Revolver frontman.

The unprompter outburst occured after Taylor went off on a rant in front of his adoring fans talking about movie remakes and how everyone this day is just looking to cash in. He then turned his attention to for Weiland telling the audience:

“I’ll give you another example. Does anyone know who Scott Weiland is? Do you know that Scott Weiland has a Christmas album now? Oh, it’s bad. It’s bad. Let me f—ing explain to you how bad it is. There is a video online of him singing, and he’s very serious. ‘Cause Christmas is serious. His hair is all slicked back and he’s in his f—ing s–-ty tuxedo.”

Taylor then mocked Weiland by starting a rendition of ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ before attempting to swallow the microphone mid-song.

“So, I’m watching this — painfully watching this, because hey, know your enemy — and I’m just like, ‘Why?’” he said. “It’s not that he’s a bad singer, ’cause he’s not. I love STP, I love some of the shit that he did with Velvet Revolver. It’s not that he’s a bad fucking singer. He’s a lazy piece of shit, is what he is at this point.”

You can watch the video of Taylor’s rant below, and if you dare below it you can watch Weiland’s debut music video for his Christmas album for single ‘Winter Wonderland’.
