Graveyard Train, Howl At The Moon and Stella Angelico are just three of the band’s signing on to play live for community radio station PBS’ Drive Live initiative for 2012. An offshoot of PBS’ Live Music Week, Drive Live is a permanent fixture on the PBS calendar and part of PBS’ continued commitment to the growth and prosperity of the local music scene. And the aforementioned three (and there will be more announcements soon) are certainly in god company, joining a legendary roster of luminaries who’ve appeared over the years including Paul Kelly, Archie Roach and Gareth Liddiard.
From Monday February 6th to Friday the 10th during drivetime the beloved local frequency will be pumped full of blistering live in-studio performances from a bunch of local talent.So, for a full week three acts will cram into three separate studios to amp up performances for the single Drive Time show. Correct! That’s three performances per night. How DO they do it?
PBS members have the exclusive opportunity to come down to PBS and witness the mayhem, in person and uncut. There’s some Coopers freebies to sink, and a fair whack of radio to watch.
