Not long after winning a groundbreaking trial against their record label EMI, which prevents the record company selling individual songs off their albums on iTunes, it would appear that the band and the struggling label have kissed and made up.

EMI has announced that it has secured a contract with the band to keep marketing and distributing the band’s back catalogue. The announcement is a small victory of sorts for the beleaguered label, which has seen some of its highest profile artists, including Radiohead, Queen, the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney jump ship in recent times.
