You’d think that The Libertines and Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty would have learned a thing or two about the perils of burglary after being jailed for burglarising his bandmate Carl Bart’s flat in 2003. After being let out of the clink having done several months porridge, Doherty fell in to a symbiotic relationship with the UK’s tabloids while he continually avoided jail on drug possession charges and kept himself busy knocking boots with Kate Moss.

Alas, and completely unsurprisingly, Pete looks to have gotten himself in trouble again for robbing a music store in the German city of Regensburg. Doherty was in town filming his role in an upcoming film, but it appears that he was spotted breaking in to a local music store where a guitar and a number of records were stolen. According to local Polizei, there is a “famous suspect” under suspicion, but they cautioned  “we cannot accuse anyone definitely right now.”
