After Steven Tyler’s flirtation with hosting this season of American Idol which pissed his bandmates off no end, it appears that the reformed caners have kissed and made up and are set to record a new album. Taking to Twitter, Tyler said “AEROFREAKSREJOICE! Joe & I sent smoke signals… shot the shit & chewed the fat for the last year…but just smoked the peace pipe for an hour today and are on our way to rock’in your fkin worlds this summer by locking our selves [sic] away somewhere w/ guitars and drums.”
Tyler was in rehab last year for painkiller addiction, while threatening his bandmates with legal action if they toured without him. He also didn’t endear himself to his bandmates when he signed up for American Idol without telling them, with guitarist Joe Parry saying “I found out on the internet like the rest of the world.”
