From the no surprises here department come news that Neil Young’s Buffalo Springfield have yet again postponed their planned reunion tour. It was nearly 2 months ago to the day that we heard news of the reunion – a planned 30 date US tour. That tour was originally to happen in Autumn the States however that was quickly moved to January/February 2012. We’re now hearing more like the end of 2012.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Richie Furay’s manager David Spero says “This delay happened for a multitude of reasons, The plan is still to tour next year. There’s not a timeline at this point. Buffalo Springfield is at the top of Neil’s list of priorities. It’s just a matter of finding a time that works for everybody.”

Neil Young had quit Buffalo Springfield on two separate occasions. Excluding a small run of dates in 2010 this reunion tour would be the first time original members Neil Young, Stephen Stills, and Richie Furay have played together since the 1960s. We’ll let you know if we hear any further developments on this one.
