We’re still recovering from the announcement of the 2012 Bluesfest lineup that dropped a few hours ago. Roger Daltrey, Earth Wind & Fire, and My Morning Jacket. Bliss. But it turns out that some clever snoops have already uncovered what appears to be the dates of the My Morning Jacket thanks to a bit of detective work.

According to Fasterlouder, a poster proporting to be that of the My Morning Jacket tour in 2012 appeared by mistake on Love Police’s website in past tours. The poster shows two dates, one in Sydney on 3rd April 2012 at the Enmore Theatre, and the other in Melbourne on 4th April 2012 at the Palace Theatre.

Back in June My Morning Jacket released their new album Circuital, their 6th studio LP and over 11 years after their debut The Tennessee Fire. At the time frontman Jim James talked about the secrets to their longevity explaining “The key to us maintaining longevity is just getting to a place where we enjoy each other. We’ve had a few memberships — not that there’s any grudges against the people who were in the band before, but we’ve been lucky to navigate through all that.”

He continued “Carl [Broemel] and Bo [Koster] are no longer new members. They’ve been in the band since 2004, longer than most bands have been around. We’re a really tight little family. It’s not like thinking of doing another My Morning Jacket record is some horrible ordeal to go through. It’s a wonderful thing.”
