The crocodile rocker is headed back down under for a spot of croc wrestling and to play a few gigs in between. New father Elton John has announced that he’s coming back to Australia for his 15th tour of the country.

Elton has a fond relationship with Australia – indeed he met his former wife Renate Blauel in Sydney in the 1980s and was so enamoured with Melbourne’s trams he bought and old ‘W’ class one in the 1980s and had it shipped back to the UK. (He might have also been a bit fond of ye olde party powders at the time).

These days, however, he’s busy changing nappies along with partner David Furnish, and no doubt hitting the rehearsal rooms as he prepares for a huge tour down under. Check him out on these dates:

November 30 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
December 3 – Hope Estate, NSW Hunter Valley.
December 6 – Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
December 9 – Adelaide’s Coopers Brewery Amphitheatre.
December 11 – Burswood Dome, Perth.
