Well, that Husky are having quite a time this year, aren’t they. They’ve been partying with Gotye, Kimbra, Devendra Banhart, Noah and the Whale and Jinja Safari, their singles “History’s Door” and “Dark Sea” have received widespread support at Triple J and community radio and the launch events for “Dark Sea” all sold out. Hooray.

Now they have officially declared October 21 the day their debut record Forever So will be dropped into the ever loving arms of their burgeoning fan base, to be followed by a headline tour to celebrate.

Recorded in the band’s own makeshift studio in a backyard bungalow, Forever So was mixed by Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart, The Strokes) at the House of Blues Studios in LA and is described by Rolling Stone as “breathtaking in its ambition.” Not bad.
