The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a beacon of history and culture for music fans everywhere, marking the impact of acts who’ve transcended the realms of what it means to create and inspire.
According to Billboard, the entity will be culminating performances from induction ceremonies between 2010-2017 for a multi-platform release on April 24th.
The concert film will include Nirvana’s electrifying 2014 performance featuring Lorde, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon and Annie Clark singing in place of the late Kurt Cobain.
Performances set for an official release also include Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr and an all-star cast of friends and Rush, as well as the acts acceptance speeches.
Five digital Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame: In Concert digital albums will also see a release, featuring bonus performances from Alice Cooper, Donovan, Dr. John, Heart, the Hollies, Darlene Love, Leon Russell, the Stooges, Tom Waits, the Small Faces/Faces, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more.
The iconic end of ceremony jams will also be included, featuring Cheap Trick’s epic jam with members of Deep Purple and Chicago.
This year’s Rock Hall induction takes place April 14 in Cleveland, honoring Bon Jovi, the Cars, Dire Straits, the Moody Blues, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe
