In case you missed it, RocKwiz are heading around Australia for a massive nationwide tour. To celebrate, we’re taking a look at our favourite moments from the show over its mammoth 14 seasons, evaluating all the stand-outs, from the hilarious to the downright moving.

Julia Zemiro tackles Kate Bush’s classic ‘Wuthering Heights’

There is only one thing in this world better than the song ‘Wuthering Heights’, and that’s other people trying to sing ‘Wuthering Heights’. Watch as host Julia Zemiro glides through a rendition of the 1978 classic with such bravado it would send Kate Bush herself into hiding.

Paul Kelly, John Butler, Julia Stone and Seth Sentry perform ‘Hey Ya’

One toes a dangerous line when covering the seminal hit ‘Hey Ya’. After all, it’s not a song that can be belted out with even a hint of irony: it requires a performer’s full conviction.

To that end, this cover is everything that we didn’t know we needed – but we’re so glad that we have it now. There is nothing quite as joyous as seeing Paul Kelly trying to bust a move. It’s a little bit silly, but a whole lot of fun.

Beth Hart performs ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’

If you can watch this video without crying, I hate to break it to you, but you probably don’t have a heart. This gritty, soulful performance of an Etta James classic is in a league entirely of its own.

Trust us on this one: you’ll surely be covered head to toe in goosebumps 30 seconds in.

Isabella Manfredi, Gossling, and Julia Zemiro perform ‘Love Is In The Air’

A bilingual cover of ‘Love Is In The Air’ performed by three of the most powerful women in Australian music is all that I needed to fill the void in my soul. This rendition is enough to turn anyone into a Pan Pacific Champion.

Courtney Barnett & Billy Bragg perform ‘Sunday Morning’

It is imperative that one day, before this world ceases to exist, that Courtney Barnett and Billy Bragg release a collaborative album together. Till that happens, this cover of the Velvet Underground classic is one for the history books.

Barnett and Bragg’s voices together are the best combination since sweet and salty popcorn. It’s poignant and heartwarming.
