Just as soon as Soundwave Revolution announced its monster line up featuring Van Halen, Alice Cooper and Sisters of Mercy amongst the headliners; Parklife has done its best to rain on Soundwave Revolution’s parade. Indeed, not have they only announced the dates for 2011, they also just happen to be the same dates in the same cities as Soundwave Revolution!
That said, with Parklife favouring a dance and indie line up, it’s unlikely to leave the rock and metal fans of Soundwave wondering where to spend their festival dollar. Last year Parklife was headlined by Cut Copy, The Dandy Warhols, The Wombats, Groove Armada and Megan Washington – start laying your bets for who will feature on the line up this year, although Litttle Dragon have spilled the beans on their inclusion on the bill. Fun fact – after being toured by Parklife and Fuzzy Entertainment last year, The Dandy Warhols are being toured this month by Soundwave Touring.
