Parklife has announced the festival’s dates and venues, with the travelling dance and indie rock juggernaut set to kick off in Melbourne on 24th September. The event is also locked in head to head battle with the Soundwave Revolution festival taking place on roughly the same dates in different cities, which could pose a problem for dance music fans that want to get their rock on with the Van Halen and Alice Cooper headlined Soundwave Revolution.

The festival line up is set to be announced on Thursday June 16th and will all arrive in one fell swoop. While at this stage only Swedish electro act Little Dragon, who were last here in December with Gorillaz, have jumped the gun and announced that they’ll be playing, the rumours are flying thick and fast with suggestions that The Presets may be making their long awaited comeback at the festival, and that there’s a chance that they may be joined by Catcall, Example, Cee Lo Green and Janelle Monae amongst others.
