You might have heard that Download Festival is making its way to Australia this year, and coming along for the ride is none other than the iconic rap rock supergroup Prophets Of Rage.

To make things better, Prophets Of Rage have also announced that in addition to their upcoming festival appearance, they’re also set to bringing fans sideshows in Brisbane and Sydney as well. But all this talk of these upcoming tour dates has us thinking, what would the perfect setlist for Prophets Of Rage be?

Comprised of members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill, the group have plenty of classic hits to choose from, in addition to some massive originals too. But what would you pick as the perfect setlist?

Of course, it would be impossible to look past some of Cypress Hill’s huge tracks, including ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man’, and the anthemic ‘Insane In The Brain’, just as it would be hard to ignore some of the band’s highly political original tunes, including ‘Unfuck The World’ and ‘Legalize Me’.

Public Enemy’s back catalogue would also be ripe for the picking as well, with legendary tunes like ‘Fight The Power’, ‘Bring The Noise’, and the track from which the group plucked their name ‘Prophets Of Rage’.

And last, but certainly not least, we’d have to see some of Rage Against The Machine’s track see a look-in, right? There’s no way that a set from Prophets Of Rage would be complete unless hits like ‘Bulls On Parade’, ‘Guerilla Radio’, ‘Take The Power Back’, and ‘Killing In The Name’ got some love, would it?

Prophets Of Rage are set to hit up Brisbane and Sydney at the end of March, so be sure to head along to witness one of the world’s most important supergroups when they play their first Australian shows.
