Brisbane four piece The Ron Swansons are today premiering their brand new debut EP titled C.C. Babcock, it seems these guys are pretty big fans of cultural references, especially the TV sitcom kind. Inspired by bands like Fucked Up, Japandroids and Cloud Nothings, the garage punks play short, messy rock n roll songs you can party to.

The band’s origin story goes a little like this; “one Tuesday morning in 2013, the band name The Ron Swansons came to Dan Michael in a hungover stupour. Soon after, with little convincing required; Brent Fitch, Chompy and Mikey Smash joined the party from other moderately unsuccessful Brisbane bands. The Ron Swansons were born.”

This , their debut six-track EP C.C Babcock will be released Monday Dec 1st, and to celebrate they’ll be playing The Brightside in Brisbane on Dec 14 for more info you can visit their Facebook page.
