Today we’re excited to be premiering Dan Sultan’s soulful new single ‘Mountaintop’, which is the first cut from Sultan’s upcoming solo EP Dirty Ground.

A follow up to Sultan’s acclaimed 2014 LP Blackbird which our Tone Deaf writer called “everything a good Australian rock album should be” Dirty Ground is a compilation of sparse and stunning new songs as well as some quieter moments and B-sides from the LP.

The upcoming EP also features some pretty impressive songwriting credits including Something For Kate’s Paul Dempsey (who co-wrote ‘Mountaintop’) folk legend Paul Kelly, Alexander Burnett from Sparkadia and Pip Norman from TZU.

Recorded at Way Of The Eagle Studios the EP will be out November 7th, in the meantime you can pre-order it via iTunes and JB Hi-Fi while you listen to ‘Mountaintop’ on repeat, check it our below.
