Aussie psych rockers The Ivory Elephant are today premiering their band new EP Time Here Is Up and it’s killer.

Having gigged solidly around the Melbourne scene for the last few years, the band (comprising of members of The Seven Ups and The Merri Creek Pickers) play straight up, no nonsense, authentic, 70s styled, blues infused rock ‘n’ roll.

Recorded straight to tape at the legendary Soundpark Studios (Paul Kelly, Dave Graney, Clary Browne, The Basics) the trio drew on influences such as The Black Keys, Dead Weather, Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to produce this EP.

They’ll be launching the EP on June 5 at Melbourne’s iconic Cherry Bar, with support from Cotangent and Ten Cent Pistols, and will be touring the east coast in July, further dates and info at the band’s Facebook page.
