Having released their debut self-titled EP in 2012 to sold out venues and a swelling audience base, Melbourne indie rockers The Raffaellas have been riding high on a wave of acclaim for the past three years thanks to their unique brand of classic rock and 12-bar blues woven with melodic compositions with a distinctly contemporary style.

The guys have recently produced and tracked their second EP titled Dreams Out of Reach, and today we’re hearing a taste of what to expect from the forthcoming release in the form of this killer new single ‘Streams’.

Produced independently with Oscar Dawson (of HOLY HOLY) at Aviary Studios in Collingwood, as well as at a studio they set up in Daylesford the release is a personal record about ideas, dreams and growing older. According to the band the this first single ‘Streams’ is a stream of consciousness. Thinking out loud, it recalls moments throughout a relationship, whilst willing itself not to be dragged down by the everyday.

Check out the impressive effort below and if you like what you’re hearing pop by the band’s Facebook page for more info on the upcoming release.
