Finishing up their UK tour playing their seminal 1991 album Screamadelica in London on the weekend, Scots rockers cum indie dance pioneers Primal Scream had a bit of fun at their Brixton Academy show. As they made their way through the album, singer Bobby Gillespie decided to dedicate a song to the world’s number one news making celebrity, Charlie Sheen.

Gillespie addressed the crowd in his best Glasgow via Memphis drawl, saying “I’ve got a question for you Brixton, I’d like to dedicate this next one to Charlie Sheen, can you guess what it is?” Naturally the place went bonkers as the band kicked in to the 1990 chart smash and perpetual indie club dance floor filler ‘Loaded’.
