In two months, it will be 18 years since the ABC’s iconic music program Recovery was last on our screens, and we’ve missed it every day since.

Since it was last broadcast in early 2000, we’ve seen anniversary celebrationsRecovery-inspired music videos, and even specials from the show resurface thanks to the Internet, but we still miss the ability to see some of the greatest bands of Aussie ’90s rock all in one place.

In celebration of the upcoming A Day On The Green tour, which features Recovery favourites Spiderbait, The Living End, Tumbleweed, and The Fauves, as well as international heavyweights The Lemonheads and Veruca Salt, we’ve taken a look back at some of the memorable moments in the classic TV show’s history.

From Spiderbait’s performances of ‘Calypso’ and ‘Buy Me A Pony’, to The Living End playing ‘Prisoner Of Society’, and You Am I showcasing ‘Good Mornin”, there were some classic moments on Recovery. Other performances of note came from huge names such as Blink-182, Green Day, and future Aussie legends Magic Dirt and The Avalanches. Needless to say, the Aussie music scene wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for Recovery.

The A Day On The Green tour kicks off in just under a fortnight, when it hits up New South Wales’ Hunter Valley, before travelling the country for what is undoubtedly one of the coolest rock festivals you’ll see this year.

Relive some of Recovery’s classic moments:
